scFLOW is equipped with a cutting-edge Solver that enables calculation with high accuracy in parallel processing and offers optimal solutions while making the most of the affordable resources.

Graph above shows a parallel efficiency in a 3-dimensional turbulent flow analysis. A speed-up in calculation is accomplished as the number of cores increases, indicating Solver’s highest level of calculation performance. Though parallel efficiency may not be desirable as the degree of parallelism increases, Solver is designed to minimize any risk factors that may restrict calculation efficiency. Factors may be the use of a particular function or mesh size, or in general, a sequential processing algorithm in the program.


In the latest and optimized matrix solver, improved convergence in a steady state condition and a reduction in calculation time per 1 cycle are realized, all with our over 30 years of know-how and techniques in CFD application development. Fast convergence is also ensured by the introduction of Local time step method which operates to set an appropriate time step for each element. Parallel processing license scheme for scFLOW

In addition to the standard edition license for new users of CFD application, HPC (High Performance Computing) edition license is also available for parallel processing and high-speed calculations. HPC license is a flexible license scheme that enables a specification of an arbitrary maximum degree of parallelism (number of cores) for instance.


An unlimited license is also available only for scFLOW. User can perform a high-speed calculation under an unlimited number of cores, a challenging simulation, multiple case exploration, all in a short time and with accuracy. As parallel calculation of scFLOW maintains high efficiency against the number of cores used, shifting to the unlimited licensing will drive the productivity in CFD analysis.
