Polyhedral mesher

To analyze physical phenomena and calculate the changes of physical quantity, elements are placed in a region.

scFLOW is equipped with a polyhedral mesher (arbitrary polyhedrons) that will enhance stability and calculation accuracy of the cell-centered Solver.

This is an automatic mesher that will generate mesh according to the target number of elements, make mesh fine near wall surface where a rapid flow change is expected. Mesh coarseness for each part and region can also be specified.

A model can be meshed with polyhedral elements automatically.

As distance from wall is uniform, velocity gradient and temperature gradient can be calculated accurately and calculation stability is ensured.
