Postprocessor (scPOST)

In Postprocessor, you can visualize the simulation results calculated in Solver. It is effective for product design reviews because in Postprocessor, you can check, for example, temperature distribution at the places that cannot be measured or observed in the actual products. You can output not only still images but also animations, as well as output files for CradleViewer.
Postprocessor is available on its own as scPOST. For further information, please contact us from web form.

scMonitor

You can visualize the progress of the simulations in scMonitor during the Solver calculations. You can check, for example, pressure contour of a registered surface and temperature contour and flow vector on axial planes.

 

* To use this function, a Postprocessor license is required.

Parametric Study Tool

Using the parametric study tool, you can set analysis conditions to multiple cases all at once - for instance, when you run several calculations with modified parameters such as flow rate or amount of heat. The interface is user-friendly with spreadsheet-like settings. You can check, in the same interface, the status of each case and the output parameters such as the maximum/minimum temperature or average pressure on a specified plane.

LFileView

LFileView is an application to view L files, which are automatically output during Solver calculations. This enables monitoring the numerical results (variables, maximum and minimum values, averages, etc.) for each calculation cycle.

HeatPathView

HeatPathView is used to facilitate thermal management of specific parts. It is used to investigate heat balance and heat paths using graphs. This increases the understanding of heat flow and leads to increased con dence in the thermal design.

Optimus for Cradle

Optimus for Cradle is an optional tool which allows for the uses of optimization functions of Optimus directly on Software Cradle products. Optimization can be performed with ease, by inputting design variables and other parameters from the dedicated GUI.

CradleViewer

CradleViewer can also be used to change view angle, display scale, and perform many other post-processing viewing functions as well as facilitate sharing data among a team. Provided for free, CradleViewer can be operated on both mouse and touchscreens* .

* Can be operated on Windows 7 and 8 Touchscreens with two fingers.

FLDutil

It is a data mapping tool that converts the analyzed results of the pressure* , temperature and heat transfer coefficient to appropriate input formats for various structural analysis software (Abaqus, ANSYS, I-DEAS, NASTRAN). It can also convert the software analysis input files into FLD files.

WindTool

WindTool is used to increase the efficiency of predicting wind environments. It facilitates setting analysis conditions for sixteen different wind directions and automatically executes the calculation of the wind environment criteria proposed by Murakami* .

* Murakami criteria: Criteria for wind environment evaluation based on the estimated frequencies of strong winds. Estimates are made of how many days in one year maximum instantaneous wind speed (or maximum average wind speed x gust factor) exceeds certain wind speeds. From the estimates, wind environment is ranked in three categories.

CADaddinTool

The function of scSTREAM parts con guration can be added to three-dimensional CAD software SolidWorks® , which allows users to change the settings of the parts, attributes, material properties (values defined by SolidWorks® can also be applied), heat generation and other conditions.scSTREAM (or HeatDesigner) can be directly launched from SolidWorks® . Settings applied from the CAD software are automatically passed to the analysis software. (Compliant versions: SolidWorks® 2008-2016)
