Solver uses the input data defined in the Preprocessor to calculate the thermalfluid flow field. The user only specifies the name and location of the input file. The monitor function enables observation of the calculation status.
Highspeed Computing
scSTREAM uses highspeed computing to quickly complete an analysis. Highspeed computing also enables scSTREAM to solve largescale analyses in an acceptable time. This allows use of complicated CAD data with minimum modification and/or cleanup to the original CAD data.

1) Indoor Temperature and Heat: 520,000 elements 500 iterations: 1 hr 15 min (Pentium Xeon 3.06GHz)
2) Outdoor wind environment: 2,210,000 elements 200 iterations: 2 hr 43 min (Pentium Xeon 3.06GHz)
3) Bubble action in a tank 560,000 elements: 3000 iterations: 52 minutes (AthlonMP 2.13GHz)
Monitor Function
The Windows version of the scSTREAM Solver uses a monitoring function to indicate the status of the calculations process. The status of basic monitoring indicators can be observed in realtime or the process can be interrupted to confirm more detailed velocity and temperature developments within the calculation domain. Batch processing can be resumed at any time.
Parallel computing
The HPC version of HPMPI （http://www.hp.com/go/hptc) enables parallel computation in largescale decentralized storage cluster bundles.
