Automobile aerodynamics is an essential automotive design element that directly relates to fuel consumption. Optimizing aerodynamics is expected for all vehicles including racing cars. Generally, aerodynamic performance is tested in a wind tunnel; however, wind tunnel testing is challenging and costly for testing many cases in short period of time. A full scale wind tunnel is a large facility that requires sophisticated advanced experimental control.
