Performance analysis on a thermal release device
Properly designed electronic devices contain design features that are countermeasures against heat. One example of a countermeasure is a device with cooling fins. When cooling fins are used special attention is given to reducing the device weight. Generally, heat design features used for heat dissipation are heavy because metals are often used in a limited space.
"HEAT Designer permits studying a number of design concepts and model geometries in short period of time thus reducing experimental production and the cost of experiments.
Reproducibility of the analysis is important because performance of the electronic device depends on the surrounding environment. HEAT Designer is a very useful tool for performing multiple-case studies because it is easy to adjust and/or modify the design features being evaluated."
