Objective:

The main objective of this course is to enable attendees to solve thermal problems that they typically encounter during the electronics product design process.  This course focuses on functions useful to electronics related simulations. The attendees will get basic knowledge on:
 

- Basic Operation of HEAT Designer

- Checking the validity of the simulation

- Advanced functions of HEAT Designer

- Finding  information and/or acquiring necessary help

2. Basic Operation of HEAT Designer

3. Radiation Effect

4. Separate flow and Heat Execution of the solver

5. Periodic Heating

6. Modification of CAD data

7. Multi-block Method

8. CSV Mapping Tool

9. Thermal Circuit Model

10. Utilizing Gerber Data

11. Practice using attendee supplied data or tutorial  exercises

12. Finding information and/or acquiring necessary help

            * 11 is omitted for 2-day course.
